St. Patrick’s Day Concert 2003 in London’s Jubilee Gardens. Sorry about the sound quality, but this was due to the concert audio equipment, as you can see the tenors indicating a problem with it.

A Sapanish Ireland´s Rugby Supporter -
ireland won the grand slam

this anthem was just written to appease the unionists in the north.
If they dont want to sing the anthem for the whole of Ireland..they should play for england.

At last – someone who agrees with me!

They ARE immense – and quality!
-
Is it conceivable that someone called CelticthunderRules would ever concede that another group could sing better than them?

Also this version in more like how it is usually sung. The celtic thunder version is good, but very cheesy and the orchestra (personally) i dont think works for this song

I was playing at a concert last week, and the Celtic Tenors were also part of the programme. For being so young and with only being accompianed by a piano, I thought they were immense.
This version does not do them proud.

i agree with Whatshername81 Celtic Thunder is way better

When I saw CT in concert they did NOT have a full orchestra! I have even seen them do this song for several PBS stations & it’s STILL amazing to watch! I’m not ragging on these guys @ all, I’m just saying that FIVE varied voices (to me at least) sound broader & more powerful. I’m sorry if I offed you Kevvy with my opinion, but I am entitled to it just as much as anyone else!
-
I wonder if you could justify that statement if they were standing on an outdoor-stage, without a full orchestra, but with a dodgy sound system?
-
Celtic Thunder’s version is much more powerful!

sorry, I’m still crying…I’m Italian!
